In collaboration with volunteers, community providers for prevention, treatment and recovery organizations throughout the state, FAVOR PEE DEE promotes a variety of RECOVERY events and activities. Each event involves a community effort of organizations and volunteers working together to CELEBRATE RECOVERY and spread the message that individuals and families suffering from substance use and addiction can and do recover.
September is identified by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as National Recovery Month. One of the biggest events of Recovery Month includes our Rally for Recovery. The Rally for Recovery is a free event that celebrates the success of people in recovery and provides valuable information about prevention, treatment and recovery support.
